What's the truth about cell phones and your health?
eems that with every new advance in technology a question arises about its long term health effects. The cellular phone has not escapedthe question. Indeed there are those that firmly believe that using cellular phones causes brain damage.Linking cell phones with cancer has been a hot topic for some time, said Rob Denell, director of Kansas State University's Terry C. Johnson Center for Basic Cancer Research. "This has been a very controversial area for some years now and a number of people have tried to file suits against cell phone companies claiming cell phone radiation-induced cancers," he said."The consensus in the field has been that there is no credible link between cell phone usage and cancers." Studies have been conducted in various countries around the world exposing lab rats to radiation levels similar to the microwaves found incell phones, and upon examination, were found to have brain cancer.
This study has never been replicated however, and has not been publishedin...

To the Struggle Against World Terrorism
Today, Emily Madoff, counsel for To the Struggle Against World Terrorism Corp. released a letter sent to the Jersey City Municipal Council and Mayor Healy regarding the monument To the Struggle Against World Terrorism by Zurab Tsereteli."I understand the focus of Jersey City was on the Special Election to replace Mayor Cunningham, so I advised the artist, the City of Moscow, and the government of the Russian Federation to be patient," Madoff said. "However, the Municipal council members and Mayor Healy have been aware of the project for over a year and have had every opportunity to familiarize themselves with it. On behalf of the artist, we have responded to every request, including providing engineering studies and proof of community support. With the election behind them now, the City Council should either put the Resolution confirming J.

Movie Review - Cellular
Cellular - 2005 New Line Productions Inc.I had a chance to watch Cellular the other day and my first thought was that here we go with another spin-off of Phone Booth, another movie with someone forced to stay on the phone for 90 some minutes while we cringe in our seat. But, to my surprise , this was actually a very enjoyable movie. I'm am not really sure what genre to classify this movie in because it has it all. Suspense, drama, action, comic relief; this movie has everything. The movie begins with the kidnapping of Jessica Martin, played by Kim Bassinger.Jessica is a high school science teacher, (that happens to wear fishnet stockings!!) who has her home broken into and mysteriously taken away to an unknown location by the "bad guys" and placed in an attic. They smash the phone hanging on the wall and proceed to lock Jessica in the attic.
Jessica then "rigs" the broken phone (remember - she's a science teacher) and is able to randomly dial a phone number. Now enters Ryan, played...

What?s new with Cellphone Cameras?
Mobile telephones have progressed a long way from their humble beginnings as the analog "bricks" of the 80's as technology has offered increasingly more complex features and options. Once no more than just a phone, now the average new cellphone has more on-board processing power than the combined computing power used to land men on the moon. Miniaturization, modern programming, and constantly improving technology driven on by a hungry market means that the cellphones of today are not just a phone, or even an organizer, but instead, they are a centralized multimedia platform. They offer many of the same advanced features as a PDA, like Bluetooth, flash card compatibility, radio, and fully featured integrated digital cameras. Much like the cameras found on PDAs, the digital photography offered by multimedia phones is not brilliant, but rather better suited to casual photography of friends at opportune moments.
The advantage of having an integrated cell-camera is that as a phone...
